Retreaded tires will have basically the same properties as the original tire, if the retreading is done on a good carcass and the new tread is of high quality. Retreading can be done as long as the carcass is in good conditions after the original tread has worn down. You can retread a good condition carcass 1 to 2 times. This will have a very positive impact on your tire budget.
